Los Vaqueros Mexican Restaurant in Mustang

Service was great. This is the 3rd time we have went there in two years. I remember why we didn’t like it. The tortillas feel and taste like that are packaged and warmed up. The first time I went I had the chili relleano but that’s was two years ago so I didn’t remember that what I order till I ordered it and it came out. I remember the exact phrase. This is premade. I asked for a shredded beef chili relleano. It’s came out with the beef under it and the chili deep friend from frozen. My husband ordered the fajitas the steak was tough and dry. I’m not a fan of frozen pre made food served. Please take the time make the food. We would come back weekly instead of driving past you all to go another place.

Always great service and great food. Never had poor attitudes or grumpy servers. Making it through the pandemic with great customer care no matter how busy they are. They always make you feel welcome.

Los Vaqueros is truly a Mustang, OK staple. Before this family moved to the current place — a few previous restaurants struggled keeping their doors open and local people wondered if there’d ever be a restaurant to keep the spot alive and well. Well, leave it to the DeLoera family to execute and succeed at this huge task. Los Vaqueros had been in Mustang for many years and this new place gave them the space they needed for their big number of ever-growing customers. Los Vaqueros is a great restaurant with topnotch customer service — they really treat all of their customers like family and everyone feel like they’re at home. This restaurant and family have really set high standards for us when visiting other places because of their phenomenal food and friendly service. Their dishes never dissapoing and neither does their cold preparadas or Paloma’s. I definitely recommend you to check out this restaurant and if you aren’t from this area, I promise the trip will be worth it!

Not a bad place to go. I'm not a huge Mexican food kinda guy. But, now & then I like to have some. Folks are pleasant and service was good too. Will likely visit again when I get the urge.

The food is very good. Staff is friendly. Was there recently, our waiter tried to ver charge us. He did round up the price. There were two of us. It should have been $8.99 each entree. He had $9.00 for one and $9.50 for the other. Told him about it, he did correct the $9.50, the other he did not. You should charge what the menu says, not roundup because it would be easier to add. Our 11 year old granddaughter even said that was wrong. So people check your receipt. This is one of our favorite places to eat. But if they are going to do this we will go somewhere else

We love this restaurant! Food is always great, service friendly, great prices. We were very pleased to find out that they were serving curbside during the pandemic closures. I called our order in. It was ready by the time I arrived for pickup.

We really liked this place, we drove by and decided to give Mexican food another try in Oklahoma. We have been disappointed in other places. Los Vaqueros was very good, from the fresh chips with the salsa and cheese sauce. We had the fajitas for 2 weeks asked for it to covered in cheese, which they did no problem. The faults plate could have fed 4. It came with rice,beans, salad and guac. The kids had the enchiladas, they both ate everything on the plate. The service was fast and friendly. At the our servers bought us some Bunelos very good. Look fwd to going back. So far the best Mexican food we have had in Oklahoma.

horrible service. used to be really good and had great experience but it’s gone down hill. we waited almost an hour for our waiter who barely came to the table and said anything. he forgot food and wasn’t good at all

It's a decent restaurant. I ordered the tacos, and they weren't bad. It's not my favorite place, but it's good for a Mustang restaurant.

Fantastic food and margaritas! The cheese sauce and salsa are amazing! They have a great patio as well.

Its never been great, more about whats available in the area. Cheap, normally quick service (not today), and decently priced. Today was a bit different with stale chips, dirty glasses, etc but again...its kind of part of the deal. Food B- , Service B, Atmosphere B-, Drinks A (Cleanliness C-)

We enjoyed it. The guy called "Chicken Little " is always very fast, and enjoyable host for an employee. Our drinks were always full, and table was always clean off. Food was piping hot, awesome, and fresh. So I would recommend it to anyone. 😁

The food was good, nothing extraordinary. The service and the drinks were spectacular... I was told to try the "bruhah"(Spelling Unknown) I didn't try it this time, but everyone at my table RAVED about it. It's basically whatever the chef puts on your plate and never the same thing twice.

I've driven past this place many times and always wondered why the parking lot was packed, well now I know!! It's a family atmosphere, very friendly and fast service, and most importantly the food was incredible! Fresh cut tomatoes, delicious chicken, and some of the best salsa in the city. I will be returning again. And again. And again.

Service was slow and food not that great. But, most importantly, servers are supposed to be required to wear face masks because of the Covid-19. We sat on the patio out doors, Thank goodness! The only person with a face mask was the cashier at the door! 😡WE WON'T BE BACK!

why have I never been here. we out our order in and literally 5 minutes later it was in front of us hot and fresh. I thought at first maybe that had the wrong people food.. nope it was ours. super amazing good, super amazing service. found a new food spot! yaaass

Drove from Union City ordered three dinners to go. Charged full price but didn't receive all of our food and what we did receive didn't have chicken in the chicken chili Relleno, asked for green sauce on two dinners but there wasn't any sauce. Called but couldn't talk to a manager he was to busy. You would think they would maybe make it right or at least be more apologetic and take a number so the manger could call us back, oh guess he's to busy. My take at this point is all they care about is making a sale and getting paid!!!!
